Who we are 

Silver Liming Ambassadors are sophomore and junior high school volunteers who have earned the Ambassador title through illustrating leadership and volunteering a minimum of 20 hours.   Silver Liming Juniors are middle schoolers and freshman volunteers earning a minimum 20 hours to become a Silver Teen Ambassador.  Teens are taught to be civic-minded ambassadors paving the way for them to become future leaders. 

What we do

Silver Liming Teens Ambassadors and Juniors spread kindness. They create, promote and implement special events to serve the community. 

 

How we serve our community

  • Conduct technology support classes for senior citizens 

  • Host car wash fundraiser to feed the homeless

  • Coordinated the purchase and distribution of items to feed the homeless

  • Organize "Cookies for a Cause" bake sale

Teens empowered to make a difference to local families one kind gesture at a time through the teen branch of Silver Liming Foundation.

Our Vision

Educate teens to be civic-minded ambassadors paving the way for them to become future leaders 

Our Goals

  • Educate ambassadors to be stewards of service through creating, promoting, and implementing special events 

  • Preserve and further Silver Liming’s mission 

  • Plan special events; work closely with local schools, businesses, political leaders and neighbors

  • Ensure that values and priorities of the SLF are shared 

  • Grow into engaged adults that allows them to: 

    • Foster civil engagement 

    • Inspire a desire to help others 

    • Cultivate decision making skills

    • Develop leadership skills and recognize accomplishments​​

    • Build confidence
