Accomplished GESTURES

Silver Liming Foundation spreads kindness one gesture at a time.

Here are some of the kind gestures we have accomplished over the years.

Spreading Love

Clothing, shoes and essentials were purchased through Amazon, and Shop Rite gift cards were donated to our February Family.  Love was spread and cherubs were fed.

Kiddos Losing a Parent

2020 was a challenging year for all of us, but life was especially  difficult for our kiddos who lost a parent.   With your funding, the children were indulged with a generous amount of Amazon gift cards for their holiday needs.

Adopt-a-Family for Thanksgiving

We collaborated with the Church of the Little Flower Confirmation candidates to feed 16 local families. In teams, the students chose the menu, bought all the food and trimmings for the meal, and Silver Liming delivered the food to the families.

School Supplies

Silver Liming members created a wish list of school clothing and supplies for families in need.  Donors clicked on the Amazon link, and the items were shipped.   Click, buy, send!

Our Lucky Charm

Silver Liming and Max Challenge of New Providence and Union worked together to raise money for our lucky charm, Jenny.  Jenny’s horse therapy helps build core strength while bringing joy; a stronger core may help Jenny walk.   With your support we were able to donate fifteen riding sessions.

Homebound Hospitality

COVID brought challenges that nobody could have predicted.  Church of the Little Flower and Silver Liming joined forces to feed senior citizens who are homebound.  Countless bags of groceries were delivered to those in need of supplies and a kind gesture.

Local Family in Need

Sometimes needs are very specific.  Silver Liming Foundation sponsored a drive for a local family.  Both parents were battling illness, and neither was able to work.  With the generosity of supporters like you, we fed this family.

Dinnerly Donations

Donors like you supported our dinner drive for a local family.  Mom has been battling cancer for four years, and her treatments are relentless.  30 meals were donated to this family.

Baby Love

While his mom was busy battling cancer, we were able to provide this precious baby with diapers, formula, and essential needs.  Thanks to the generosity of people like you, this young family had time to focus on mom’s health instead of shopping for basic baby needs.

Sweet Sophie

Silver Liming is committed to spreading kindness, and for Sophie, the gestures are easy to fulfill.  Contributions by folks like you provided support for Sophie and her family while they were living in Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).

Teach Your Children Well

September offered families a chance to volunteer by helping a recent widow with some yard work.  Parents and children gathered twigs, weeded and spent valuable time with our 90 year old friend while giving his yard a fresh look.

Governor Livingston High School Seniors

Due to the pandemic, the seniors spent the last semester quarantining instead of dancing at prom, enjoying Project Graduation, and having the thrill of friends and families cheer for them as they receive the diploma.  Each senior received a t-shirt with the name of every classmate written on the back.

Linda Gets Creative

Local artists, including Linda Tribuna were kind enough to donate masks for a cause.  The masks were available for free, but donations were welcome.  Donations were given to Silver Liming, and used to continue our mission of spreading kindness.

Boy Scouts

Early in December, Troop 23, Pack 23 reached out to us and donated dinner for ten families in need.  Silver Liming Juniors delivered the boxes of food while learning the importance of volunteering and helping those in need.

Essential Workers

Pampered Chef host Mackenzie Mercado joined Silver Liming’s mission to spread kindness.  Lunch coolers were filled with snacks, puzzles, lip gloss, and more .  You can’t see it, but they are smiling behind the masks.
